Working remotely is becoming more commonplace in the legal industry. It presents many benefits and challenges. People have to be educated and adhere to new policies in order for remote work to be successful. In this presentation, we will discuss labor laws, insurance coverages, client and employee interaction and employer/employee responsibilities.

Gail has over 25 years' experience in the management and direction of privately held professional entities which includes finance, accounting, personnel, operations, systems, real estate negotiations and various levels of marketing. Most recently, she served as the executive director for an intellectual property firm in Philadelphia where she helped to plan and implement a remote work program.
Gail graduated first in her class at Rider University with a B.S. in Management Organization and Behavior. She also graduated cum laude from Rider University earning an M.B.A. with an emphasis in accounting and finance. Gail has been an active member of the ALA since 1992 and served as President of the Philadelphia Chapter (2015 - 2016).
