Oliver Yandle took the helm in July 2012, of the largest international organization providing support to people in the legal management profession, at the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). With nearly 10,000 members in 30 countries, Yandle steers an organization of leaders in the legal management industry who are experts in management, finance, human resources, systems and technology, facilities, marketing and practice management.
Prior to ALA, Yandle served as the executive vice president of the Commercial Law League in Chicago. Oliver’s law association experience includes holding the executive director position at the International Association of Defense Counsel, in Chicago, Illinois and he served as an adjunct instructor of legal analysis and writing at the Washington College of Law at American University.
In addition to his legal experience, Oliver has had a long-standing career in association work. He has held senior directors positions at SmithBucklin in Chicago, Illinois, at the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association in Washington, D.C. and at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America in Washington D.C.
He is active in both the Society of Association Executives (ASAE) where he holds the Certified Association Executive designation, and the Association Forum of Chicagoland, where he currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors.
Oliver is a native of Louisiana and holds a BA in journalism from Loyola University of the South in New Orleans, and a JD from Washington College of Law at The American University in Washington, D.C.
Jeremy joined ALA in March 2015 as Senior Director, Marketing and Strategic Initiatives, and is responsible for leading the marketing, content/publications and business development teams in developing integrated marketing plans, branding, membership communications, market research, and business partnerships. Jeremy has an extensive background in marketing and advertising, strategic planning, brand development, sales generation and team leadership. Before joining ALA, he worked as an independent marketing consultant, providing marketing and project services for PMJ Group and TPN Retail, as well as functioning as the Director of Marketing for the Freedom Golf Association. Prior to relocating back to Chicagoland, from 2003-2012, Jeremy was the Director of Branding, Media and Sponsorships for the University of Denver, Division of Athletics and Recreation. Jeremy holds a Master of Business Administration in Integrated Marketing Strategy from the University of Denver and a B.S. in Advertising from Bradley University.
Robert had previously worked for ALA as Sales Manager from 2011 - 2013. Robert returned to ALA in January 2015 to assume the Manager, Business Development role. He oversees ALA's Business Partner relations as well as the VIP Program. Specifically, Robert works with the ALA Sales Team to sell all ALA products and services including: Legal Management, BOLD Bites, web advertising, webcasts, exhibit sales and sponsorships. Robert earned his B.A. in Communications from DePaul University, Chicago. On a personal note, Robert is married with two children and enjoys spending as much time with his family as possible. Also, he enjoys training in the martial arts, specifically kickboxing.
